Try again, Elton

After the interview released to the Sun where it demonizes Internet, it is better than a beautiful pause of reflection is taken, because this time has shot it just large!
In this interview it defines Internet antisocial means, a threat for the community and music, a phenomenon that limits the socialization, while people must exit of house to communicate rather than to write in a blog.

Protest against the too much availability of technology and, just for being positive, proposes to close the entire Internet for 5 years in order to verify if the situation improves meantime.
Brilliant, not?

Sir Elton Hercules John in art Elton John (famous for being afraid of technology), than has delighted us for years with its music (I still conserve various its musicassette, original), expressed itself in anachronistic way and it proposes unattainable solutions (for a lot of reasons).
It is also incoherent because the concert of its 60° birthday has been transmitted in streaming live on Internet and also has announced that within the end of the 2007 the entire catalogue of her music will be able to be acquired online.

Writing on a blog, I can only have opposite opinion, also because in this way I have the opportunity to catch up infinity of persons, of every age, social extraction and geographic position.

Elton isolate himself from the real world, Elton speaks a language that people always speak less (that one about ASOCIAL NETWORK); perhaps for this its last album has been a flop: just him that have make dream us with her words of her songs for decades, does not understand that the communication changes in the course of the years.

If the record industry is in crisis, sure partially that is diffused legacy to the practical one of illegal exchange of music with the peer-to-peer, but it is also true that all the singers are in the same situation. Some people is able to gain the same, in others cases (you can see the italian singer Irene Grandi on Second Life; on purpose, I am consuming the bit of its splendid one double cd to fury to listen to it) they take advantage of the new technologies in order to generate new opportunity.

IMHO it's not true that the technology kill the creativity and the communication: it allows to ALL the artists, above all that less you notice and less it supports to you from the majors record of having much visibility; thanks to the new web technologies, recently I have known extraordinary artists like Joss Stone and Vanessa Carlton, than until little time ago I ignored who were.

If Elton John were not one of the richer persons of United Kingdom, I should think that she wants makes of the publicity (this news has made the turn of the world provoking infinity of comments).
